The app which facilitates online training for NCC cadets in Hindi was launched by Defense Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar.
New Delhi, 28 May 2021: One of the prominent effects of the ongoing pandemic has been the need to shift to online learning modules. The restrictions imposed by COVID-19 have impacted everyone, including NCC cadets and since the regular contact-based training was inconceivable, all their training activities came to a standstill especially in rural belts.
To overcome this challenge faced by NCC cadets, CHLSoftech, which had created India’s first training app for National Cadets Corps (DGNCC Training App), created the Hindi version, which was launched by the Defense Secretary Dr. Ajay Kumar. The cadets can now continue with their online training using the app that offers higher efficiency and ease of use.
The DGNCC training app is a one-stop portal for NCC cadets. It provides complete access to entire training material including Frequently Asked Questions, Précis, Training Videos, Syllabus, and much more. The app facilitates two-way communication between the trainee cadets and a panel of qualified trainers and instructors by allowing cadets to ask questions.
Dr. Kumar congratulated NCC for their enthusiasm to continue educating cadets while also keeping in line with COVID protocols. He further remarked the NCC Training App Version 2.0 will continue to assist cadets through their online training despite difficulties posed by the ongoing pandemic. The app will prevent the loss of an academic year by allowing trainee cadets to avail online training and to appear for certificate exams.
Speaking about the version 2 of the DGNCC Training App, Abhay Singh, CEO of CHL Softech elaborated, “It is a privilege to be working on the app, which contributes immensely to nation building.”
The app is available on Playstore for Android users.
